Blogging Etiquette

1. Limit personal information. Only use your first name. Do not give out your last name, address, e-mail address, password, phone number, physical description, or your location.

2. Make your post easy to read and understand. Use spell checker, write in complete sentences with punctuation. Do not use abbreviations. You are not texting or tweeting here.

3. Be positive and polite. Comment on what you like, what makes you think and wonder using positive words. Be appreciative to those who took the time to comment on your posts.

4. Write comments that are related to the content of the post. Continue the conversation, state your point of view, add to the post with a link, idea, reminder, or new perspective.
